\u00a0The Collection of Auxiliary Objects<\/strong> is an indispensable part of all museum exhibitions and includes models, maps, replicas of certain objects, facsimiles of documents, various plans, charts, and other auxiliary items that are part of the Sarajevo Museum\u2019s holdings, some of which are featured in its permanent exhibitions.<\/p>\n

The collection consists of more than 200 exhibits that complement and enrich both temporary and permanent museum displays. A particularly valuable item in this collection is the model of old Ba\u0161\u010dar\u0161ija from 1878, which is the largest and most significant model in the collection. It was created by the renowned model maker Husein Kari\u0161ik with his assistants and was completed in 1953, based on historical data provided by Professor Hamdija Kre\u0161evljakovi\u0107 and an architectural blueprint by engineer Juraj Neidhardt.<\/p>\n

Among other notable models in the collection are those of the Gazi Husrev-bey Mosque, the Mi\u0161\u0107ina mahala, and market women in Ba\u0161\u010dar\u0161ija. These models serve as a unique tribute to the city\u2019s architecture, its development trends, and the lifestyle of Sarajevo\u2019s inhabitants. The collection also preserves valuable frescoes of Mecca and Medina, painted by Jusuf Za\u010dirovi\u0107 based on the original work of Mustafa Faginovi\u0107.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n
