\n International Day of Monuments and the Day of Starobosanski Dubrovnik <\/h4>\n <\/div>\n\t

The Starobosanski Grad Dubrovnik Foundation, Ilija\u0161, in cooperation with the Public Institution Museum of Sarajevo, will organize the final activities of its 11th annual event dedicated to the International Day of Monuments and the Day of Starobosanski Dubrovnik on October 29, 2025. On this occasion, at 6:00 PM, in the Brusa Bezistan, there will be a presentation and an exhibition titled: PRESENTATION OF THE SUITABILITY OF THE STAROBOSANSKI GRAD DUBROVNIK (ILIJA\u0160) LOCATION FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF SUSTAINABLE TOURISM.<\/div>\n

The presentation part of the program will be conducted by members of the Foundation\u2019s management bodies: Dr. Vjekoslava Sim\u010di\u0107 Sankovi\u0107, Dr. Adnan Busulad\u017ei\u0107, Dr. Nusret Drekovi\u0107, Dr. Edin Bujak, Mr. Zlatan Filipovi\u0107, Ms. Azra Be\u010devi\u0107 \u0160arenkapa, Dr. Adis Elias Fejzi\u0107, Edina Kamenica, and Perica Mijatovi\u0107.<\/div>\n

In addition to the infrastructural development of the site, the historical, cultural, and artistic value of the ste\u0107ci from the Kopo\u0161i\u0107i necropolis (once proclaimed as \u201cour most beautiful medieval monument\u201d) will be discussed, along with the 10th anniversary of the discovery of a noble brocade cloak with gold embroidery, now housed in the safe of the National Museum. The UNIQUE SOUVENIR \u2013 A STE\u0106AK WITH AN EPITAPH (from the Kopo\u0161i\u0107i necropolis), which mentions King Tvrtko, will also be promoted.<\/div>\n

As a new way of presenting the value of cultural heritage, a Virtual Reality Interpretive Center will be introduced, and there will also be a discussion on the EUROPE HORIZON Project \u2013 Ste\u0107ci, which is partly implemented at the Kopo\u0161i\u0107i necropolis.<\/div>\n

In the second, entertainment part of the program, which will focus on the court ladies of Ilija\u0161 Dubrovnik, musical and dance performances will be presented by artists Dragana Glumac and Senad Tafro, as well as a dance group performing medieval dances, operating under the Foundation. This part of the program is supported with equipment by the National Theatre Sarajevo.<\/div>\n

Co-organizers of the event are the Ilija\u0161 Municipality, ICOMOS \u2013 International Council on Monuments and Sites, NK in BiH, and the Coordination Team of the STE\u0106CI \u2013 EH Project.<\/div>\n

The exhibition and VR Center can be visited at the Brusa Bezistan from October 29 to November 8, 2025, between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM, with professional assistance.
