Born in Cazin and active in Sarajevo, Remzija Omanovi\u0107 was a participant in the National Liberation Movement and a prominent antifascist. During the war, he was imprisoned in the Stara Gradi\u0161ka concentration camp, from which he took part in an organized escape in 1943. He died in 1944 as a result of the consequences of imprisonment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His sister Razija, awarded the Order of the National Hero, joined the Communist Party and the National Liberation Movement under his influence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This artifact preserves the memory of the antifascist struggle and the values of freedom upheld by generations of young people.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>U Zbirci 20. stolje\u0107a Muzeja Sarajeva \u010duva se studentski indeks Remzije Omanovi\u0107a, svjedo\u010danstvo prekinutog \u0161kolovanja i ratom obilje\u017eene mladosti.
