On Tuesday, May 5, marking the Day of Remembrance of the Murdered Children of Besieged Sarajevo, the Memorial Center Sarajevo, the Sidran Foundation, and the Museum of Sarajevo invite today\u2019s fortunate children of Sarajevo, their parents, all those who preserve the memory of the siege of the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and all who deeply feel the poetry of Abdulah Sidran, to listen to verses of warning \u2014 the anguish of a civilized human being in the face of the senseless suffering inflicted by an evil and bloodthirsty force in human form \u2014 and to ensure that we never, in life, in literature, or in moments of remembrance, overlook or forget \u201cMora\u201d by the poet Sidran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Renowned actors Emina Minka Mufti\u0107 and Tarik D\u017eini\u0107 will recite verses by Abdulah Sidran written during the siege of Sarajevo, accompanied by the young and talented guitarist Erol Begi\u0107. Sidran\u2019s \u201cMora\u201d will be performed by young writer and reciter Ahmed Nur Mehmetovi\u0107. The program will be moderated by one of Bosnia and Herzegovina\u2019s most prominent journalists and editors, D\u017eevdet Tuzli\u0107.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We invite the media and the public to join us in these moments of remembrance and to pay tribute to those who lost their lives and to their grieving families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
