The interactive model of Sarajevo old town from the Ottoman period

Interaktivna maketa Sarajeva iz osmanskog perioda kreirana je radi lakšeg snalaženja kustosa | posjetilaca Muzeja Sarajeva na fizičkoj maketi autora Huseina Karisika, koja se nalazi u Brusa bezistanu u Sarajevu. Ovaj projekat je uradila Laboratorija za kompjutersku grafiku SARAJEVO GRAPHICS GROUP Elektrotehničkog fakulteta u Sarajevu u saradnji sa Visual Dimension iz Belgije u okviru njihovih aktivnosti u Transnaclonalnoj mreži virtuelnih muzeja V-MUST.NET.

Bosnian Traditional Objects

Project “Virtual Museum of Bosnian Traditional Objects” was created as an attempt to digitize and present in multimedia form a part of the exhibits in the Museum of Sarajevo through the coursework of the 3rd year students at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering Sarajevo, Computer Science Department, in the Computer Graphics course. Virtual museum has an advantage over the classical museum in enabling the visitor to explore the exhibits and turn them around, Through this project the Museum of Sarajevo has gained the gratis 3D digital content that will be uploaded to their web site and offered to visitors as a DVD. Virtual museum contains 41 digital exhibit.

Virtualni muzej sarajevskog atentata

The aim of the 'Virtual Museum of the Sarajevo Assassination' project is to launch the process of digitalising the collections of the Museum of the City of Sarajevo, particularly those related to the period of Austro-Hungarian rule in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The project is implemented by computer graphics researchers from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the University of Sarajevo, working as the Sarajevo Graphics Group

Museum of Sarajevo Digital Collection

A portion of the Sarajevo Museum’s collection has been digitized through the efforts of Global Digital Heritage (GDH), a non-profit private research and educational organization committed to documenting, monitoring, and safeguarding the world’s cultural and natural heritage. GDH employs advanced methods of digital visualization, 3D virtualization, geospatial informatics, and open-access technologies to produce high-resolution digital models of cultural monuments. These models are made freely available to the public, promoting the preservation of cultural heritage and supporting education, open access, and scientific research in the field of digital humanities.

White Bastion

4D Virtual presentation of White Bastion aims to present the historical development of this cultural heritage object through digital stories combined with interactive 3D models of the Bastion in various time periods. These models contain digitized findings from the site and their 3D reconstructions.

Tašlihan

The aim of creating the Tašlihan virtual presentation is introducing the public with the original appearance of this valuable cultural heritage object, its history and purpose. Laboratory for Computer Graphics from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Sarajevo, Sarajevo Graphics Group, has implemented this project in three editions: as a documentary, interactive digital story and serious game.

Old crafts Virtual Museum

In this project,, the users will find out the details about crafts facing extinction: četkar (brush maker), kazaz (tailor decorater) and bozadžija (maker of drink called boza) through Virtual Reality application. They can also learn about the historical development of crafts in Sarajevo and get to know meanings of craft names that are not familiar any more to the general public.
