KONZERVATORSKO - RESTAURATORSKI TRETMAN FASADNOG PLATNA KAO INTEPRETACIJA HISTORIJSKOG OBJEKTA

Abstract

The author of the paper brings out the key architectural   and historical features of the Jewish Municipality building in Sarajevo,   built in 1933. Originally, the building housed the administration of the   Ashkenazi Jewish Community, the library, the rabbi’s apartment, and offices   for the supporting services. Bearing in mind the Modern style in which   this building was built, respective conservation and restoration works   started on the facade, which was renewed in 2022. The paper reveals the   methods of intervention and the professional treatment carried out on   this historical building.
