Abstract

The author presents the historical, artistic and topographical   value of Krizman’s graphic arts, which can be found the Museum of Sarajevo   under the title “Folder number 581” ,dated from 1937, within in the Art   Collection, with the foreword written by the Bosnian historian Vladimir   Ćorović. The graphics of Tomislav Krizman document Bosnia and Herzegovina   in an artistically impressive way- with the relief patina from which comes   out the essence of the Bosnian, the diversity and authenticity of cultural   matrices that have remained from the Ottoman period and merged with   the new Europeanized patterns of living. The cities in Tomislav Krizman’s   graphics are a true documentary source for one to study residential   architecture, streets, squares and bridges, as well as the ambiance designed   in which the population of Bosnia and Herzegovina lived at the beginning   of the 20th century.
