SARAJEVSKI MOSTOVI – SVJEDOCI VREMENA

Abstract

In addition to many sights, it is also its old bridges that make the city of Sarajevo unique. Sarajevo bridges were built over time as the city developed and became witnesses of historical times and people who passed through Sarajevo. In this paper, the oldest bridges are mentioned, and the only exception is the newer Festina Lente Bridge, which was ceremoniously opened in 2012. As the city developed throughout the twentieth century, in addition to the bridges in question, downstream the Miljacka River, fifteen newer ones were built.
