At the 23rd International Congress of Social Sciences of the Turkic World, organized by the International University of Sarajevo (IUS), the Museum of Sarajevo was represented by Adnan Muftarević.
In his presentation, Muftarević introduced the work of the Museum of Sarajevo and the Society of Archaeologists (founded in 1894), discussing historical and archaeological analyses of the Ottoman period and earlier Turkic communities discovered in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Special emphasis was placed on the importance of these findings for understanding the cultural and historical heritage of our country.
