Anthropology, while not yet recognized as a university discipline in Bosnia and Herzegovina, finds its home in museology. The Museum of Sarajevo is the first and only museum institution of social significance in the country to employ an expert dedicated to establishing and managing the Anthropological Collection, to study the cultural and historical fabric of Sarajevo’s population through the lens of this holistic science and present the findings to the public.
