The 14th International Exhibition “Artists in Sarajevo” Opened
Today, the 14th International Exhibition Artists in Sarajevo was officially opened at Brusa Bezistan. Once again, this exhibition enriches the cultural offerings of the capital city while promoting contemporary art and creativity from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The aim of the exhibition is to provide space for meetings and dialogue among artists of different styles, as well as to foster communication with the public – both those who already follow the contemporary art scene and those who are just beginning to explore it. The artworks on display at Brusa Bezistan are infused with light and creative energy that connect and unite differences – reflecting the individual expressions of 26 artists from 7 countries.
At the opening ceremony, the speakers were Midhat Efendira, Indira Kučuk-Sorguč, Director of the Museum of Sarajevo, Mirsada Baljić, the project author, and one of the exhibiting artists, Adis Lukač.
The exhibition will remain open until July 10, and can be visited:
on weekdays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
on Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, at Brusa Bezistan, a branch of the Museum of Sarajevo.
