To mark this important anniversary, we are highlighting a 1958 self-portrait of Behaudin Selmanović (oil on canvas) from the Art Collection of the Museum of Sarajevo.
Selmanović lived in Sarajevo from 1943 onward, and his painting style is characterized by pure colors and refined lines, especially evident in figures and still lifes. He first exhibited in 1945 with ULUBiH, and continued to participate in all of their exhibitions.
