At the Safet Zajko Center for Culture and Education, an educational and creative workshop titled “Jewelry Through the History of the Sarajevo Region” was held today for the students of Umihana Ćuvidina Elementary School.akit kroz historiju sarajevskog kraja”.
The project is carried out in cooperation between the Municipality of Novi Grad Sarajevo and the Sarajevo Museum
Radionica “Nakit kroz historiju sarajevskog kraja” učesnicima pruža osnovno upoznavanje s tradicionalnim motivima, tehnikama izrade i razvojem nakita kroz različite historijske periode.
Participants had the opportunity to learn how ornaments changed and evolved under the influence of time, as well as which types of jewelry were characteristic of the Sarajevo area.
In the practical part of the workshop, participants engaged in creative work and crafted their own pieces inspired by traditional forms and ornaments.
We are especially happy and proud that the Municipality of Novi Grad recognizes the importance of culture, cultural-historical heritage, and the transfer of knowledge to younger generations, and continues to support projects such as this one.
