The year that is coming to an end has brought a great deal of work, many meaningful encounters, and important moments for the Museum of Sarajevo. Through exhibitions, permanent displays, and various projects, we have sought to bring the stories of Sarajevo, its people, and the times in which they lived closer to our audience in an accessible, engaging, and dignified way.
Throughout the year, our team worked with great dedication to presenting the city’s cultural and historical heritage, while also shaping museum spaces as places of meeting, learning, and dialogue. Each exhibition offered a new opportunity to present the richness of the museum collection, as well as contemporary curatorial and authorial perspectives, and to share them with the public.
Through the photographs we are sharing, you can glimpse the atmosphere of the past year and see what our exhibition program looked like — a kind of retrospective, a small time slice of the museum moments that marked 2025.
