Last night, this year’s edition of the National Theatre Sarajevo’s special programme “Culture in the Streets!” came to a close at Svrzo’s House. To mark the occasion, a concert featuring the soloists and Opera Choir of the National Theatre Sarajevo was held, attracting numerous lovers of opera and classical music.
Under the baton of Maestro Dario Vučić and with piano accompaniment by Bakir Samardžić, the audience had the opportunity to enjoy a selection of some of the best-known arias, duets, choral pieces and songs from the rich operatic and concert repertoire. The closing concert featured National Theatre Sarajevo Opera soloists Aida Čorbadžić, Melisa Hajrulahović Tomić, Katarina Kikić Marić, Hana Andrle, Hanadi Karić, Amir Saračević, Jasmin Bašić, Ermin Ašćerić, Erol Ramadanović, Denis Isaković and Leonardo Šarić, accompanied by the NTS Opera Choir.
During the special programme “Culture in the Streets!”, the Museum of Sarajevo hosted the concert “Sevdah – World Reconnected” in the courtyard of Svrzo’s House, the poetry performance “Sarajevo with Love” in the courtyard of the Jewish Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the closing concert featuring the soloists and Opera Choir of the National Theatre Sarajevo, also held in the courtyard of Svrzo’s House. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the initiators, organisers and artists, and especially all the visitors who came to our museum branches and enjoyed the programme. As the museum of the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Museum of Sarajevo is proud to have had the opportunity to open the doors of its truly unique branches and host a cultural programme such as this one. We look forward to the next edition!
