On August 27 at 8:00 p.m., the Museum of Sarajevo will host its 27th public lecture on the history and culture of Sarajevo as part of the “Our Heritage” series. The lecture, entitled “Saz in Sarajevo,” will be delivered by Damir Imamović, a prominent sevdalinka performer, researcher, and teaching assistant at the Music Academy of the University of Sarajevo.
The audience will have the opportunity to learn more about the history of the saz, its place in Sarajevo’s musical tradition, and its significance in the shaping and transmission of sevdalinka.
