Muzej Sarajeva izražava iskrenu zahvalnost prof. dr. Ajniji Omanić na izuzetno vrijednoj donaciji deset primjeraka knjige „Zdravstvo u opkoljenom Sarajevu 1992–1995 (Dokumenti, arhiv, sjećanja)”, u izdanju Medicinskog fakulteta Univerziteta u Sarajevu, uz suizdavača Ministarstvo zdravstva Kantona Sarajevo.
As the editor-in-chief, author of the foreword, and contributor of research texts, Prof. Dr. Omanić, together with physicians and medical staff, bears witness to the heroic work of healthcare professionals who, remaining faithful to the Hippocratic Oath and moral principles, saved human lives under the most difficult conditions during the siege of Sarajevo.
This invaluable publication, released in 2012, will serve as significant documentary material for the Sarajevo Museum and will be used in the implementation of projects related to the period of the siege of Sarajevo, as well as in research into the historical processes of 1992–1995 and the everyday life of Sarajevo’s citizens under siege.
