It is with deep sadness that we say goodbye to Erdoan Morankić, a talented young artist who lost his life too soon.
His young life and creative path were violently cut short, but the mark he left through his short yet extremely fruitful artistic work remains a lasting testament to his talent, sensibility, and dedication to art.
He was a student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo, where he left a strong mark through his work. His artworks were imbued with a special emotion and authentic expression, including a painted detail of Svrzo’s House, which testifies to his deep connection with heritage, space, and cultural tradition.
We express our sincere condolences to his family, friends, colleagues, and all those deeply shaken by this tragedy.
