Tonight, an evening of poetry dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of the Murdered Children of Sarajevo was held at the Sarajevo Memorial Center, organized by the Sarajevo Memorial Center, the Museum of Sarajevo, and the Sidran Foundation.
The program featured verses by Abdulah Sidran, written during the siege of Sarajevo, performed by renowned actors Emina Muftić and Tarik Džinić, with musical accompaniment by young guitarist Erol Begić.
Sidran’s poem “Mora” was also performed by the young writer and reciter Ahmed Nur Mehmetović.
The evening was hosted by prominent Bosnian journalist and editor Dževdet Tuzlić.
The event was marked by remembrance, silence, and respect for the murdered children of Sarajevo and their families, while the presence of citizens and media contributed to commemorating this important date.
