On Wednesday, 15 July 2026, the Museum of Sarajevo will host three events celebrating and promoting the cultural, artistic, and historical heritage of Sarajevo and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The programme begins with the opening of the 15th International Art Colony “Artists to Sarajevo” exhibition at 2:00 p.m. at the Brusa Bezistan. The participating visual artists will present works they are donating to the City of Sarajevo, inspired by the beauty, spirit, and unique character of the city.
At 7:00 p.m., the same venue will host the 26th Public Popular Science Lecture, entitled “Sarajevo in the Century of Splendour and Dust”, delivered by Dr Muamer Hodžić, Senior Research Associate at the Oriental Institute.
The day concludes at 9:00 p.m. with the third concert in the series “Damir Imamović’s Sevdah at Svrzo’s House”. The concert is part of a programme of nine performances planned for this summer’s celebration of sevdah music.
