Today, Brus was visited by a delegation from the City of Vienna, represented by Lukas Kafenda - expert officer in the office of Deputy Mayor of Vienna Barbara Novak for finance, economy, work, international relations and digitalization; Raffael Murlasits – Deputy Chief of Cabinet; Steffi Watzek-Hadwiger – head of the department for strategic coordination and project management in the International Office of the City of Vienna in the headquarters in Vienna; Patricia Raschek – clerk in the deputy mayor's office; Claudia Varga – media spokesperson of the Deputy Mayor of Vienna; and Voin Mihajlović – journalist from the Viennese media KOSMO.
During their stay in Sarajevo, the delegation decided to familiarize themselves with the cultural and historical heritage of our city.
Distinguished guests toured the permanent exhibit that shows the development of Sarajevo from prehistory to the beginning of the 20th century, and had the opportunity to gain an insight into the layered and extremely valuable history of this area.
We are particularly pleased with the expressed interest and positive impressions of the members of the delegation, who recognized the importance of the Museum of Sarajevo as an institution that preserves and presents the past of our city in an authentic and meaningful way.
