This evening, the experimental AI film Mother Queen Katarina Kosača-Kotromanić, written and directed by Nataša Bartula-Hebert and based on the research conducted for her novel of the same title, was screened before a full audience at Brusa Bezistan. This distinctive interpretation of one of the most significant figures of the medieval Kingdom of Bosnia brought together numerous prominent personalities from Bosnia and Herzegovina’s public and cultural life, who lent their voices to the characters of this important historical period that forms a shared heritage of all the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The film’s production also involved distinguished figures from the worlds of art and culture, including Ivica Šarić, Adis Elias Fejzić, Zlata Behram, Ruždija Adžović, Edin Krehić, Edina Kamenica, Eldina Zolj, and many others.
Although pioneering in its approach, the 45-minute film, created with the assistance of artificial intelligence, demonstrates that it will soon be possible to produce works that until recently could only be imagined, while requiring only modest financial resources.
