The funeral (janazah) of our great historian and historiographer Hamdija Kreševljaković, 1959. This was one of the largest funerals in post-war Sarajevo. Kreševljaković was exceptionally respected, esteemed, and beloved in Sarajevo, as evidenced by his final farewell.
Kreševljaković’s entire body of work, focused on the history of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its culture, civilization, administration, and crafts, is today considered the most relevant historical source on Bosnia and Herzegovina.
