The Museum of Sarajevo announces the opening of a permanent exhibition of models in the unique setting of the Svrzo House.
This special exhibition tells the story of Sarajevo’s past through carefully crafted models depicting Baščaršija, old Sarajevo mahallas, traditional houses, and summer residences of prominent families. These are original works by renowned model makers Husein Karišik and Mesud Sarić, whose creations combine artistry, knowledge, and exceptional technical precision.
The exhibition not only revives the city’s former appearance but also recalls parts of Sarajevo that have disappeared or significantly changed over time.
