Otvorena izložba \”Mirisi Baščaršije\”

Organized by the Art Colony Association and the Museum of Sarajevo, the 14th International Art Colony “Scents of Baščaršija”, dedicated to Edin Numankadić, opened at Svrzo's House on August 19, 2026.

During the colony, 17 artists from around the world captured Sarajevo and its beauty on canvas in the unique setting of Svrza's House. From Wednesday to Friday, visitors had the opportunity to observe the artists at work and experience their creative process, while on Saturday, August 22, an exhibition of their works was opened.

The aim of the International Art Colony was to contribute to the enrichment of Sarajevo’s cultural offerings and to promote the cultural and historical heritage of Bosnia and Herzegovina. As part of the colony, a workshop for children was also organized, introducing young participants to the ways in which art can enrich and influence everyday life.

The Museum of Sarajevo’s art collection has been enriched by another valuable artwork. We are proud that artist Selver Kadrović donated his work “Minaret at Night” to the Museum of Sarajevo. We are honored to have been part of this important project for the second consecutive year.
